The Battle of Gaixia was fought in 202 BC between the Han army that was led by Liu bang and the Chu army that was led by Xiang Yu. Liu Bang started with the advantage over Xiang Yu because he had 300,000 soldiers in his army where Xiang Yu only had 100,000 soldiers in his army. The two armies finally battled when Liu Bang’s army attacked Xiang Yu’s army at the Wujiang River. As Xiang Yu’s army was outnumbered and were clearly going to lose the battle he had no choice but to kill himself with his sword.
The battle of Zhuolu was the 2nd battle in Chin history. The battle was between the Yellow Emperor and Chi You. It is named the battle of Zhuolu because I was fought in a place called Zhuolu. The battle is believed to be fought in the 26th Century BC. Ci You’s army had better equipment so the Yellow Emperor took a defensive strategy at the beginning of the battle. Ci You’s army used the heavy fog to their advantage by confusing the Yellow Emperors army with it. The Yellow Emperor overcame this problem by using there invention called the South Pointing Chariot to locate where they were. Finally the Yellow Emperor captured Ci You and executed him to win this battle.
